Narrative

It follows a failed high school heavy metal group of renegades who use the town’s sudden interest in the occult to build a reputation as a satanic metal band until a strange series of events lead to a witch hunt that leads them back. Def Lepard Hysteria, KISS The sky is on fire, Meatloaf Speaking in tongues, Iron Maiden Can I play with madness, Black Sabbath Die young, Danzig Mother, Queen and Dance is late.

It turned out to be a teen drama best suited for MTV

Ghost Macabre.. I went into this completely blind and my first impression was that it was going to be a dark comedy and satire of 1980’s satanic panic.

The stories are all over the place, but they mostly come together

It’s another 80s flashback where most of the cast looks like they’re from 2024, playing characters from the 80s and doing everything wrong. I watched it in one day and it could have been a 2 hour movie.

It’s definitely one and there’s no re-watching

The not so subtle ending really ruined what could have been amazing. I can’t really recommend the show, but it wasn’t bad.

They really missed how funny the satanic panic was in the 80’s when we all knew it was bs.. The movies "What we do in the shadows" last season; is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
